MacLearn Saturday March 23rd – Photo Editing and Projects

Photo Editing Review for the first hour and then Hands On Project Time for three hours with help from our Instructors.

In preparation for our first ever MACADEMY AWARDS at SpringFest 2013 we are holding this MacLearn workshop to get you started on your award winning project!

Share one of your creations, an iPhoto slideshow or album or book, a one or two minute iMovie, or Keynote of our favorite cars, a trip you took, family or pets, arts and crafts pieces you have or want to make … anything you make on your Apple or with your Apple apps!  These are home grown awards.  Novices are welcome and encouraged to share their treasures, and we have prizes!  Our goal is to learn have fun learning together while making really cool, useful stuff!

We will have instructors available to help you with any technical questions and to give suggestions to make your project special.

The only requirement for entry of your project is that you use some Apple device or App to create your project.  It can be a group effort or an individual effort.  Its time to practice what we have been learning in our workshops and show off our ideas and creativity.

For those who want to try a practice project first, we will do group project to create a Pets of HMAUS photo gallery.  We will help you edit and enhance your photos and work with you to practice creating a slide show, iMovie, Keynote or other project.

BRING:   Your Macbook, iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch and your photos and video clips of your cats, dogs, birds, or whatever you want to put in your projects for editing, tuning up, framing, or enhancing.  Our instructors will be available to help you do your best work.

Location:  Capital One 360 (formerly ING Direct Cafe) – Alii Conference Room        1958 Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki

Cost for this event: $3  No host beverages available from the Cafe downstairs.
