Discussion Panels
Panel 1 — What role do user groups have in today’s world?
The “stranger in a strange land” needs to understand and seek new areas of service in order to provide relevance as the march of time introduces ever new landscapes. Where does HMAUS fit in, as a community interested in technology, with the rest of the world? Can HMAUS avoid becoming a “dinosaur” and instead become like a rising phoenix?
The audience is encouraged to ask questions and submit recommendations.
Moderator: Eugene Villaluz
Panel members: Terrence Young, Kimo Sutton, Bill Fuller, Rick Gass, John Weikert
Panel 2 — What should HMAUS do to better serve its members and community?
HMAUS leaders need to mediate between needs and wants of its members as well as those belonging to a larger community. By better understanding the wants of its members HMAUS leaders and future leaders can identify the needs to satisfy the desires. What can HMAUS do that it is not doing now? What is it doing now that can be done better?
The audience is encouraged to ask questions and submit recommendations.
