<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Kepano Kekuewa</strong>, Apple Higher Ed <strong><strong> </strong></strong>Account Executive packed a two hour MacLearn presentation on July 25th with a slew of cool features of iPhoto &#8217;09.  Here are a <em>few</em> things he shared, how-tos are in the handout linked below:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>iPhoto is an organizer </strong>– Photos are imported as, and reside in <em><strong>Events</strong></em>. Drag over an Event to skim the photos in it and easily merge and split Events.  <strong>Albums </strong>are <em>virtual</em> collections  you drop photos into. <strong>Smart Albums</strong> grab the photos for you, based on your criteria.   Choose  an album or any set of photos and make an instant slideshow, a picture album or calendar.  You can also easily label and sort your photos according to Titles, Ratings (1-5 stars) and Keywords, either individually or in a bunch.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">
<p style="text-align: center;"><span id="more-2529"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>iPhoto is a photo editor.  Crop </strong>and <strong>Straighten </strong>images,<strong> </strong>or zap blemishes, lines and dirty spots with the <strong>Retouch</strong> tool.  Adjust shadows, highlights, color, sharpness by dragging sliders, then copy and paste those Adjustments onto other images!  <strong> </strong>Your original images are kept safe and can be restored at any time.  Cool!</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><em>A BIG mahalo to Kepano for an outstanding presentation,  to the 27 of you who joined us, to Jeff Kang for our projector rescue, and  Norm Hallett for the photos!<br />
</em></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><img class="size-full wp-image-2598      alignnone" style="margin: 6px 8px;" title="composite" src="http://www.hmaus.org/?p=2529&amp;getfile=2598" alt="composite" width="289" height="175" /></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">
